Tim Schaible was born in upstate New York in 1947. He studied painting at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and then began a highly successful career as an art director for advertising companies in New York and Sonoma County, California.
He returned to painting in 1993, his natural aesthetic for creating emotionally charged visuals exploding to life through the brush. His work has been described as "powerful and painterly." For the past eight years he has been exhibiting at the Kennedy Gallery in the Grand Cayman. Through this partnership his art is now part of many corporate and private collections around the world. Here in the US he has be invited to exhibit with the top-rated juried festivals around the country: Coconut Grove Art Festival, Ann Arbor Old Street Show, Sausalito Art Festival, Belleview Art Festival, Artist Guild of San Francisco. Gallery shows: Gallery In the Sky, Chelsea, New York City.
Today, Tim's studio is in a large barn at his and his wife Deborah's 28-acre Canvas Ranch near the coast in northern California.
