Born in 1953 in London, David Stetson's education included the Hornsey College of Art in England and New York University Film School in the USA.
David launched his career as a fashion photographer in London and later in New York at his studio on Manhattan's Park Avenue south. Currently living in Tokyo, David's prolific portfolio includes: Sophia Loren, Alfred Hitchcock, Placido Domingo and the late Princess Diana. He has worked for leading luxury brands such as Christian Dior, Givenchy, Guerlain, Guy laroche, Hugo Boss, and Yves Saint Laurent... and shot for leading magazines world-wide including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar, as well as working as a Director/ Cameraman on music videos and TV commercials and Consultant Creative Director for advertising agencies.
He has exhibited his artwork in major galleries in New York, London, and Tokyo and has been commissioned for special projects by The United Nations, Andy Warhol, MTV and Tetsuya Komuro... Currently working on worldwide assignments in the area of Photography, Design, Film, and Video Direction.
