About The Artist: Adelaida Noriega

Born in Mexico Adelaida Noriega studied watercolor drawing, mixed media and sculpture. She works in bronze, patinated plaster and alabaster. Noriega's first approach to sculpture was figurative, in her scond phase she searched for more sythetic forms. In 1978 Noriega won the silver rose prize for her works in the competition of the Feria de las Flores in San Angel, Mexico....
