Alain Bonnefoit was born in Paris, May 18, 1937, and over the last 35 years has become well-known as an important and talented figurative painter. In 1953, Bonnefoit entered lEcole des Arts Applique and lEcole des Beaux Arts in Paris. From 1959 to 1960, he studied Engraving and Sculpture at lEcole des Beaux Arts in Brussels.
