Alexander Hewitt grew up in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Houston. He is currently residing in New York City and working on a Masters of Fine Arts at the New York Academy of Art. Hewitt has been working on portraits since he was a child, and is self-taught.
