Colombian (1945)
A psychic is surrounded by a family as she uses "For The Love of God", a platinum cast of a human skull encrusted with 8,601 diamonds, by Damien Hirst, to divine the ten most essential Colombian artists.
However, as the boy points out, she has omitted an artist from the list. This is part of Barrios’ continuing tradition of using familiar comic formats to make commentary on the Latin American art world.
