About The Artist: Andres Segovia

Andres Segovia is known for his modern expressionist still life paintings. Segovia was the son of the noted classical guitarist of the same name. A 20th-century Argentinean artist, Andres Segovia first studied in Buenos Aires. He moved to Paris in the early 1950s to complete his studies in Europe, and by the mid-1950s his paintings and lithographs had been accepted into exhibitions throughout Europe, the United States, and Argentina.
