About the artist:

Menashe was born in 1939 in Karachi in pre-independence India to Parents who originated from Afghanistan. He Emigrated to Israel in 1949 as part of the Youth Aliyah program. He was accepted to the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design but due to difficult financial status, he was forced to cut short his studies after three months and become a social instructor and teacher. Later on, he attended the art Arts Academy in Antwerp and Merksem, Belgium. Paints mainly biblical themes. He currently lives in Belgium.
