About The Artist:
Ben Menashe
Menashe was born in 1939 in Karachi in pre-independence India to Parents who originated from Afghanistan. He Emigrated to Israel in 1949 as part of the Youth Aliyah program. He was accepted to the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design but due to difficult financial status, he was forced to cut short his studies after three months and become a social instructor and teacher. Later on, he attended the art Arts Academy in Antwerp and Merksem, Belgium....

About The Medium:
Lithograph
A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
