about Narcissus and Echo

Discover this exquisite hand-signed Photorealist mezzotint featuring a meticulously rendered still life of flowers in glass with grain, shot glass, and wood table elements that blur the line between reality and art.

This stunning Still Life print exemplifies the Photorealism and Surrealism movements through its extraordinary attention to detail and dreamlike composition that transforms everyday objects into subjects of contemplation. The artist’s masterful mezzotint technique creates rich tonal variations and textural depth that bring the narcissus flowers and surrounding objects to life with remarkable clarity. A sophisticated example of contemporary Photorealist and Surrealist still life art that brings technical excellence and visual poetry to any collection seeking museum-quality prints with botanical and interior themes.

About The Medium: Mezzotint

A printmaking process of the intaglio family, technically a drypoint method. It was the first tonal method to be used, enabling half-tones to be produced without using line- or dot-based techniques like hatching, cross-hatching or stipple.
