Turning his head to the side, the buck in this Charles Fracé print slightly camoflages into his environment as the red of his fur matches the fallen red leaves.

Big-eyed and covered in soft fur, the deer is reminiscent of the cartoon Bambi and would suit a children's room well.

About The Artist: Charles Fracé

Charles Fracé was born in 1926 in a small town in eastern Pennsylvania. He began drawing at five and taught himself to paint when he was fifteen. Fracé remembers wanting to be an artist from an early age. His self-instructed talent earned him a scholarship to Philadelphia's Museum School of Art, where he graduated with honors. About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
