Charles Lanier was born in Yugoslavia in 1938. Arrived in Paris in 1958 and studied as a free student at Beaux-Arts. Began painting in 1961 after his studies at Beaux-Arts. Arrived in the United States in 1969 and painted and exhibited his work throughout galleries in this country, including the Palm Springs Gallery.
