About the artist:

Claude Grosperrin was born at Charenton, France and studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. Was influenced by painters such as Maurice Brianchon and exhibited widely in France and abroad, including at Wildenstein, Charpenetier, Durand-Ruel and Weil. His work is held in a number of public galleries in France, including Angers, Mulhouse, Paris and Toulouse and internationally in galleries in Cologne, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Stuttgart.
