Set before Mount Moran in the Grand Teton Mountain Range of Wyoming, Conrad Schwiering's depiction of a field of yellow wildflowers emerging from the recently-thawed soil is an image of renewal and rebirth.

Past the field, a forest of spruce and pine trees separate the open area from the rocky facade of the snow-capped mountain in the distance.

Working from his home and studio in Jackson, Wyoming, Conrad Schwiering painted mountain landscapes that showed the changing seasons.
