Born: Garden City, (Long Island) New York. Attended Parsons School of Design - Graphic Design / Photography Dept. Worked in Illustration in NYC through most of the 70s. 1977-78, lived in Athens, Georgia. Photographed "The B-52s", 1st. NY gigs. 1980 Stopped painting and started Photographic Portraits in New York studio. MADONNA, Her 1st. magazine cover, ISLAND Magazine. REM "CHRONIC TOWN", record cover. 1980-83 Started shootings for GQ, ESQUIRE, Andy Warhol's INTERVIEW magazines. 1984 moved to Japan. 2004-5, Moved back to America and Taught at the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE, Washington DC.
