About The Artist: Don Munz

Don Munz is a native Californian, who constantly draws on his unlimited supply of local beauty and rich memories for the landscapes he paints. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Art Center College of Design, and completed his Master's degree at California State University of Los Angeles. He holds a California Lifetime College Level Teaching Credential and taught art classes at Pasadena City College for several years....

About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
