About The Artist: Ed Ahlstrom

Ed Ahlstrom is a professor in the Art Department of Montgomery College where he teaches classes in landscape painting, portraiture, and watercolor. He received a B.F.A and M.F.A. from the School the Art Institute of Chicago. He also studied in the Department of Conservation of the Art Institute where he developed his knowledge of painting materials and methods.
