Born March 30, 1947 near the banks of Germany's River Ruhr, daughter of the well-known Karopka-Branntier, Eleonore Guinther attended her father as an apprentice in his studio. This may be the reason for the unusually short run of maturity for a Guinther to achieve an unchangeable style. Guinther has become a German landscape artist, extraordinaire. Many of Eleonore Guinther's canvases are open-air studies of the shores of Yugoslavia and Denmark....
