Bobbing beside the mooring amid several piers along the riverbank, Eve Nethercott's two canoes are banked along the sandy shoreline of the river.

Plastered with seaweed and moss, the sand appears rough against the smooth teal water that laps against the shore.

About The Artist: Eve Nethercott

Eve Nethercott is an American watercolor artist born in 1925. Nethercott painted with fluid lines and a impressonist style. Nethercott likely spent her life travelling the east coast and living in Maine. A fascination for watercolors, and teaching the others how to paint out of her home. She favors scenes of Maine, New York City, Portraits and Seascapes. Eve Nethercott passed away in 2015....
