Eve Nethercott's still life featuring red and green bell peppers is bathed in light that reflects off of the shiny surfaces of the vegetables.

Arranged casually around the platter and bowl, some of the peppers are sliced in half which allows the viewer to glimpse the juicy vegetables' insides.

Eve Nethercott is an American watercolor artist born in 1925. Nethercott painted with fluid lines and a impressonist style. Nethercott likely spent her life travelling the east coast and living in Maine. A fascination for watercolors, and teaching the others how to paint out of her home. She favors scenes of Maine, New York City, Portraits and Seascapes. Eve Nethercott passed away in 2015....
