About the artist:

Farulli Fernando, born in 1923, and 'was professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and made his debut with his solo show in Milan in 1950. In the first post-war movements to participate in the Florence-Art-Today-The-pros and cons of Rome. In Rome with a solo debut in 1963, the year of his consecration to the Florentine Strozzina, thanks to the passionate work of Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti and Renzo Federici, who became his greatest supporters. Between 1961 and 1966 presents three exhibitions at the Manhattan Gallery in Pasadena and in 1965 he joined the stable of-the-Bison with his graphic works, proposals for an exhibition of 1965 in Piombino. Start in this period his work as production designer, works with installations for the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (for the night flight of Luigi Dallapiccola in 1964) and the Deutsche Oper Berlin (Ulysses, always Dallapiccola, 1968). In Berlin offers two important solo in 1970 and 1972 and returned in the fundamental group of 1974 Italienische Realisten. He exhibited in Rome (1974), Prato (1976), Certaldo (1977), Brussels (1978), Milan (1980, Palazzo della Permanente), Castiglioncello (1988), Hamamatsu in Japan (1989), Florence (1992), Milan (1992), Florence (1993), Piobino (1993). He died in 1997.
