George Grosz
George Grosz - born as George Ehrenfried Grosz in Berlin in 1893 - grew up in the Pomeranian town of Stolp. Which he portrayed in architectural studies as early as 1907/08. His drawing teacher recognised Grosz' talent and prepared his pupil for the entrance exam at the Königliche Kunstakademie in Dresden. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils.
