About The Artist: Hely Lima

Hely Lima was born, raised, and worked in Brazil until moving to New York in 1970. Even as a child, he was fascinated by elaborate fantasy building projects; he transformed everyday objects into elements of dream cityscapes. Lima moved to Rio at 18 and began working for Paramount Films in Brazil as an ad and poster designer.
