Heribert J. Losert (born July 11, 1913 in Neunkirchen (Lower Austria), † April 11, 2002 in Wörth on the Danube) was a German painter and graphic artist. Losert's family moved in 1923 to Troppau (Silesia). At the age of 15, Heribert Losert received the first drawing lessons from the painter Silberschütz. Ukiyo-e is the best-known type of Japanese woodblock art print. An earlier term for a woodcut, usually on larger, rougher pieces of wood.
