About the artist:

J.J.J. Rigal is the son of writer Edmond Rigal and Augusta Rigal. He married December 16, 1949 in Neuilly-sur-Seine with Denise Nesme. From this union was born their only daughter Nicole Rigal1 2. J.J.J. Rigal, including illustrated books for bibliophiles. He was a member of the Society of French painters and engravers. The National Library maintains hundreds of his prints.
