About the artist:

Inspired by the vast beauty of the nature, artist James Wiens has been a professional artist for more than 20 years. Using the texture of wood or canvas as the base of his creations, he paints primarily in oils. "For me being an artist is who I am. I have always been an artist. There is nothing else I want to do." Formally trained, James captures his subject matter in a style he simply describes as 'easy'. His success can be attributed to his dedication, versatility and hard work. A passionate outdoorsman and dedicated family man, his favorite times are those spent with his family.
