about Family On The Beach

This charming offset lithograph by Jan Balet depicts a family relaxing on a beach with chairs and desert landscape elements, rendered in the artist’s distinctive Modern Art style influenced by French art and the School of Paris.

Created with Balet’s characteristic use of simplified forms and warm color palette, the composition captures the leisurely atmosphere of seaside family life with a touch of Mexican-inspired aesthetic. The print showcases Balet’s ability to blend figurative elements with decorative patterns and flat color planes, characteristic of mid-century modern illustration and printmaking. A delightful example of Balet’s work that celebrates the simple pleasures of family time and coastal relaxation.
