John-Paul Philippe is a native Oklahoma born artist and designer splitting his time between New York City and Sharon, CT. John-Paul's work ranges from paintings & murals to large scale interior design elements such as integrated metal sculpture in both commercial and private venues. John-Paul's design aesthetic has been at the forefront of the Barneys New York store concept design and interior art throughout the United States and Japan. Recent endeavors include large scale metal architectural partitions, commissioned for public and private collections in addition to his upcoming gallery exhibitions. Recent solo exhibitions include: Hill Work. Barry Whistler Gallery, Dallas, TX. In Design: The Artwork of John-Paul Philippe. Artspace at Untitled, Oklahoma City, OK. John-Paul is currently represented in New York by Cristina Grajalas Gallery. His wall dividers, furniture, lighting elements, and bird perches have be shown in numerous international design shows and fairs.
