About The Artist: Jeanne Champion

Writer and painter, Jeanne Champion was born on June 25, 1931 in the Jura where it passed her childhood. Exit of a rural medium, it joined his/her parents in Paris where it exerted various trades before venturing in painting in 1956, then in the writing in 1961. About The Medium: Pastel

An art medium in the form of a stick, consisting of pure powdered pigment and a binder. The pigments used in pastels are the same as those used to produce all colored art media, including oil paints; the binder is of a neutral hue and low saturation.
