About the artist:
Having studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts, and The Arts Students League, I presently live and work in Sag Harbor, NY. I am a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists. My work is held in private collections throughout the USA and Europe.
I use various mediums, oil paint, watercolor, charcoal, ink acrylic, and various printmaking and photographic techniques. Using my years of studying color and my own experimentation, I have worked to develop my unique approach to formulate the elements of my artwork. My sensibilities of light, time, motion, space, and passion are communicated through the application and combination of mediums to express my emotional connection to what I see. I draw my inspiration from the landscapes of the East End as well as other venues.
I am also a fine art digital printer and have worked for many years producing mixed-media images. Many of the works I have created are available in unique limited edition prints. The images are hand-embellished one-of-a-kind monoprints.
