About The Artist: Joseph Grippi

Mr. Grippi was in his time a pupil of Hans Hofmann, then Stuart Davis, but perhaps was better known as Jackson Pollack's framer, and finally as the owner of the legendary Gallery G in New York City where he represented many of the finest artists of the second half of the 20th Century.
