About the artist:
Kenneth Wilkes was born in Monterey, California and has lived for extended periods in Japan, Alaska, Louisiana, and California. A medical doctor, he received his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He also holds a Master of Arts, and a Master's in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California at Berkeley. While at U.C. Berkeley, Kenneth Wilkes worked as a photography instructor at the ASUC Studio.
