This screenprint from Austrian artist Kiki Kogelnik represents a more scaled-down version of her usual style.

The work is done in an illustrated, line-art style and depicts a clothing rack with wheels completely filled with coathangers. Rather than have clothes hanging from them though, limp forms shaped like people are draped on the hangers like trousers. Below this are the words "Seventh Ave People". This piece is signed in pencil.

About The Artist: Kiki Kogelnik

Kiki Kogelnik an Austrian by birth and training lived in the United States for many years. She is exhibited widely in Europe and the U.S. Her early work was primarily abstract, but soon evolved into cut out figure forms in space age settings and clothing.
