About The Artist: Leandro Velasco

Leando Velasco was born in Cali, Colombia in 1933. "I was born in Columbia, South America and I arrived in New York City on November 23, 1963, the same day President Kennedy was assassinated. My dream was to be a working artist and live off the proceeds from my paintings.
