About The Artist: Luis Mazorra

Born in Mexico City, Mazorra studied at fine arts schools there and then at printing workshops such as the U.C.L.A. Workshop in Los Angeles and Pratt Graphics Center in New York where he learned the techniques of making fine prints and especially the methods in making these extremely textural, embossed etchings for which he is most known.
