Italian (1978)
About the artist:
Mario Vespasiani was born in 1978 in le Marche. Mario attended the Arts Institute. In 2004, Mario won the prestigious prize, "Pagine Bianche d'Autore." His constant research revolves around scientific documentation from catalogues, text material by critics, interviews and internet. Mainily he concentrates on the ambiquity of the finished work, where bursts of vivid and exuberant colours and images are clearly evident. "Brush strokes and brilliance, height and energy have been his forte ever since he took his first steps in the world of art." Mario's work maybe better studies through three elements: Photography, Television and Computer produce both the sttic image and the necessary dynamism. By absorbing inspiration from these three elements he manages to create his own personal message. The movements in front of the painting emanate the agility of a feline, an omnivorous and restless body transmitting the sensation that behind its single glance you will fin the condition that creates a lasting impression. I have so often attempted to compare the talents of other artists to that of Mario's, but the evidence was unique. A mix of humanity and humilitiy, both unpredictable and sensitve but above all generous. He is based in Ripatransone, a small but idyllic medieval town in the Marche region, offering the essential contrasts of light and panoramic views, which is just the right inspriation he can ask for.
