About the artist:

Born in New York City and currently lives on Long Island. He received his B.S. from Buffalo State College and M.F.A. from the California College of Arts and Crafts. He has taught at SUNY Stony Brook, since 1986. He is a past president of the Society of American Graphic Artists (SAGA), and elected to the National Academy of Design. He has juried many exhibitions including the UK, Bulgaria, Poland, Yugoslavia, and the US. He has received over 120 National and International awards, including a National Endowment for the Arts in Printmaking.
