Mon Levinson
Mon Levinson was born and raised in New York. He studied economics at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a bachelor’s degree in 1948. Returning to New York upon graduation, Levinson began attending art exhibitions and experimenting in his studio. Plexiglass
A transparent thermoplastic often used in sheet form as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. The same material can be used as a casting resin, in inks and coatings, and has many other uses.
