About the artist:

Natale Addamiano's pictorial career developed en plein air after an initial period of intimate and existential formal painting during the 1970s in Milan, which saw him teaching as professor of Painting at Brera Academy of Fine Arts for over thirty years. It was his beloved homeland Puglia that gave way to the cycles which grew into the most recent starry skies, results of a painting that draws on the intensity of poetry. His profound dedication to natural light invigorated his art giving it expressive strength and a vibrant touch of new and vibrant Mediterranean light.
