Paul Bloodgood was born in 1960 in Nyack, New York, and currently lives and works in New York City. After receiving a B.A. in painting at Yale University in 1982, he spent four years living and painting in rural parts of Maine and New Hampshire. He moved to the Lower East Side in 1986.
