REVIEW from February 2018 by Donald Kuspit, State University Art and Philosophy Professor (retired) , author of more than twenty books with two Ph D. degrees recently saw my website. He surprised me with the unsolicited personal note, below:

“Your steel sculptures – your “Homage to Kandinsky” are first-rate, hold their own in the tradition of abstract expressionist sculpture. Their formal complexity and allusive “”re-cognition” of the figure, are masterly. I admire your creativity.” Donald Kuspit 2018

Patient Advocate RE: All Floroquinolone Antibiotics, esp. Levaquin 1998 - ongoing

1998: Had disabling adverse reaction from Levaquin antibiotic. Pain Art series began at that time. See “Pain Art” section in website. Floroquinolone antibiotics like Levaquin, Cipro, and Avelox can induce delayed reactions that damages achilles tendons and small fiber nerves, endocrine system.

Patient Advocate against Johnson and Johnson’s Distribution and Misinformation @ Levaquin and FDA incompetence to track adverse reactions.

Submitted Shareholder Proposal to change medication labels. Proxy denied by J&J and SEC. Black Box Warnings added. Stronger labels put on all floroquinolone antibiotics in 2003, 2005, 2008 FDA successfully sued by Chicago Ill, Attorney General Office for mislabeling and not fully informing patients of permanent tendon and peripheral nerve damage. Label changes only, no compensation awarded to all damaged by these toxic drugs that are marketed to doctors as “stronger and better”. Note: They were cancer drugs in 1960’s. Taken off market. Repositioned as antibiotics that FDA approved 1997 with no working system for tracking adverse drug reactions. Corruption between drug companies, FDA, and Pharmacy Managers (CVS, Walgreens) ongoing. Patients not warned properly.

CURRENT PROJECT: Writing art catalogue on the art created in U.S. by two Holocaust Survivors Paul and Eva Marco who lived and worked in NYC, Sarasota, Fla, and Rangeley, Maine. Both now deceased. Mr. Marco was baritone at MET in NYC 1948 – 1963 then sculptor in Maine. Wife Eva oil painter and fine artist in silk embroidery. Her artwork combined the two in unique mythological images and her life in Maine seeking peace and solace with nature.
