About the artist:

The artist, born in 1941 belonged 1964/65 with Dietmar Ullrich and Dieter Asmus to the founders the group become in the mean time art story ZEBRA. It, with which means the modern and in discussion with photography the short circuit between art and world produce again and to create therewith a more modern, contemporary realism, was goal. These "formulations" of a new realism concept in the picture artistic work of the group led very soon to international recognition. Numerous pictures are worldwide in museums - among other things Basel, Aachen, Dusseldorf, Florence, Hamburg, Kiel, Lausanne, Deu Dehli, Rome, lock God village, Munich... and in the Muthesius-Kunsthochschule in Kiel. There it was 20 years (until 2005) professor for painting.
