Pierre Loeb is a French painter born in 1934 in Nancy. Pierre Loeb spent his childhood in Pont-à-Mousson where his father had a grain. After the war, during which his family retired in Saône-et-Loire then in the Ain, back in Lorraine until 1947. Pensioner in a private school in the Paris region until 1952, it will be an opportunity to a first contact with the capital. Until 1955, he began his training at the School of Applied Arts in Metz. After classes at Verdun, he embarked for Bône and continued his military service on the Tunisian border. Return to Paris where he attended the school of Paul Colin from 1959 to 1961. During this same period, for a few months he joined the academy André Lhote which he had already addressed the teaching by reading.
