Regley de Koenigsegg
Count Regley de Koenigsegg was born in Paris in 1823 and died in 1904. He started his career in the Navy in 1839 on the frigate Atlante and was one of the first white men to visit Easter Island. He graduated from special military school in 1843. The Count fought in North Africa, Italy and Germany and was taken prisoner at the Battle of Metz in 1870. He was released in 1871.
