Richard Anuszkiewicz, a student of Josef Albers, shared Albers' fascination with shapes and their relationships to color. Considered a major force in the Op Art movement, Anuszkiewicz concerned himself with the optical changes that occur when different high-intensity colors are applied to the same geometric configurations. About The Medium: Screenprint

A stencil process employing a frame on which silk or synthetic fabric is stretched. Stencils are hand-drawn or hand-cut and placed on the stretched fabric and act as a block out when the ink passes through the screen by means of a squeegee onto the paper, the non-stencil areas create the image. Also known as silkscreen or serigraph.
