About the artist:
Robert Hunt received a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of California and a Master's degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. As described by Walt Reed in the most recent edition of "The Illustrator in America", "His work reflects his classical training, but with a contemporary take." His work has appeared on the covers of books by many leading authors including John LeCarre, Arthur C. Clarke, Steven King and S.E. Hinton. He has created illustrations for a wide variety of projects including the Dreamworks logo and motion logos. His documentary projects on the Bay Bridge Earthquake reconstruction and the Tour de France were featured in Communication Arts magazine. His work has received numerous awards and has appeared regularly in the New York Society of Illustrator's Annual exhibits at the Museum of American Illustration, as well as American Illustration, Spectrum and the Communication Arts, Graphis and Print Design and Illustration Annuals. Mr. Hunt's work is part of many private and corporate collections. Robert Hunt is a Senior Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts (Formerly CCAC.) where he teaches Illustration, professional practice and location painting. He lives and works in San Anselmo, California, with his wife Lynn, and their two children.
