Roberto Sgrilli
Roberto Sgrilli was born in Firenze. He worked for among others Il Cartoccino dei Piccoli in Monza, and for Il Corriere dei Piccoli, for which he illustrated tales. He also created the character 'Formichino', which he drew from 1936 to 1941. 'Formichino' was continued by Sergio Asteriti in the 1950s. Sgrilli was also an accomplished painter of still lifes and landscapes....
