Roger F. Smith was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1961, and lived there until embarking for the University of Tennessee in the early 1980s. Subsequently, Roger moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and resided there until moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 2000.
