This poster shows the same scene found in the famous painting "The Persistence of Memory" by Dali.

Extended to the right of the composition, however, are new figures. A strange body with drawers in its chest and a lobster on its head stands in the foreground while two giraffes, flames leaping from their necks, stand behind it in the background.

About The Artist: Salvador Dali

Salvador Dalí was born in May 11, 1904 in the small agricultural town of Figueres, Spain. Figueres is located in the foothills of the Pyrenees, only sixteen miles from the French border in the principality of Catalonia. The son of a prosperous notary, Salvador Dalí spent his boyhood in Figueres and at the family's summer home in the coastal fishing village of Cadaques where his parents built his first studio.
