Narcissus, according to Greek mythology was a hunter known for his great beauty.
Many loved him but he only felt contempt for those who lavished affection on him. Narcissus is seen here staring at his reflection in the pool, and falling in love with it, thus leading to his drowning. This print was published by the Collector’s Guild in 1968 signed in the plate "Pour CG 1968"
